Biotechnology Research Institute of Urmia University was established in 1379 by receiving a basic license from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology with the aim of conducting advanced research, localizing and expanding technology, producing biological materials and training researchers and senior researchers at the national and regional level in the field of biotechnology. and with God's help, from the middle of 1386, this collection was launched by eliminating the defects of the facilities and equipment, and it was available to researchers day and night with full capacity.
